ICT Updates

The Directorate of ICT was tasked to facilitate on the online (virtual) 40th Graduation ceremony. The directorate of ICT worked together with other sections of the University such the Corporate Affairs & Protocol Office (CAPO) and Finance Office to achieve this. 

The 40th Graduation was conducted online (or virtual) during the COVID-19 pandemic period. To curb the spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19), face to face meetings and events had been barred by the Government of Kenya in March 2020.

Under the direction of the Ag. Director ICT, Dr. Joyce Komen the University had it's first virtual Graduation ceremony on the 10th of December 2020. Several teams under directorate of ICT were formed upfront to handle the different issues with regards to the 40th Graduation and ensure a successful virtual graduation. ICT Updates

The Moi University Graduation website launched in November 2020 ahead of the 40th Graduation Ceremony. The 40th Graduation Ceremony will be held online (virtual).

Information on graduation including the notices, announcements, graduation list, how to apply for graduation online, etc. and any other relevant information regarding graduation in Moi University will be accessible via the Graduation website.

ICT Updates

The First year website was launched in August 2020 ahead of the online registration of the incoming first year students. The first year students (cohort for the Academic year 2020/2021) were expected to be admitted online during the COVID-19 period when physical learning (face to face learning) had been barred. Following the President's directive in March 2020, physical learning was barred as way of curbing the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19) which was a global pandemic.

All the information for first year cohort 2020/2021 was made available on the website, this included the notices, announcements, online registration procedure, accessing admission letters, university student email, online learning, etc.
